Use of Technology for Efficient Public Service.
Technology for effective Policing :
SCRB MP is responsible for computerisation of State Police and have under taken the task of digitisation of all police records and process of investigation.
Key Intiative involve :
- Installation and operation of CCTNS in 1111 Police Staions 642 Supervision offices.
- Providing multilayer connectivity ot all CCTNS nodes and offices.
- Maintain police website.
- Crime data management and information sharing.

DIGITAL INDIA AWARD 2022
Madhya Pradesh Police received this award for the "e-Vivishek App" from the Honorable President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, on January 7, 2023, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, in the "Digital Initiative at Grassroots Level" category organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.
FICCI Smart Policing Award 2022
For this innovation, Shri Chanchal Shekhar, Additional Director General of Police, State Crime Records Bureau, was awarded the "FICCI Smart Policing Award 2021" by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry at an event held in New Delhi on September 2, 2022.
DIGITECH Award 2023
The ETGovernment DigiTech annual awards were established to recognize outstanding work that effectively uses technology at low cost. The Madhya Pradesh Police received this award for the "e-Vivishek App".
SKOCH Award
The "e-Vivishek App," developed by the Madhya Pradesh Police in the "Crime Investigation" sector, was recognized and awarded the "E-Governance Gold" Award at the "SKOCH Award 2022" event organized by the SKOCH Group.
1st in ICJS
Madhya Pradesh Police has been awarded the first prize by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) and the Ministry of Home Affairs, India, for their outstanding performance in the digital domain and for preventing crimes through the effective use of the Inter-operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS).
